Bourbon Heritage Month
blog | 09/01/2016
Ah, our most favorite time of the year is finally here, and we have a lot to look forward to. Each September, we celebrate the legacy and deep-rooted tradition of the Bourbon industry during National Bourbon Heritage Month.
The best way to celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month is right here in Kentucky at the annual Kentucky Bourbon Festival. Beginning in 1992, the Kentucky Bourbon Festival has grown to become one of the Commonwealth’s leading festivals, and an all-around great time!
A variety of fun and educational events take place during the Kentucky Bourbon Festival, but we’re partial to Let’s talk Bourbon, which we host at our Distillery in Lawrenceburg.
Let’s Talk Bourbon is a detailed seminar led by Master Distiller Brent Elliott, COO Ryan Ashley and Brand Ambassador Al Young, looking at the history and process of making Kentucky Bourbon. Guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet and the opportunity to raise a toast. Tickets are required to attend this event and can be purchased here. We hope to see you there!
What better time to celebrate the nation’s top Bourbon bars than during National Bourbon Heritage Month? Bourbon industry publication, The Bourbon Review, has release its list of America’s 80 Best Bourbon Bars and has once again partnered with us for a nationwide “toast” to each of the 80 establishments selected.
The toast will take place on Friday, September 30, so raise a glass and take part by tagging your favorite bourbon bar from the list using the hashtag #80Toast.
