Four Roses Distillery Donation Policy


Our Commitment to Community

Thank you for your interest in a Four Roses Distillery donation! We deeply value philanthropy and proudly support nonprofit organizations and charitable events throughout the year. Before submitting your donation request, please review our policies to ensure your organization meets our criteria for consideration.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Tax Exempt Status: Organizations must provide proof of 501(c)(3) status and a valid Tax-Exempt EIN Number.
  • Location: Four Roses Distillery accepts donation requests exclusively from organizations located in Kentucky, as well as those within a 100-mile radius of the distillery —even if they are outside Kentucky.
  • Pickup: All donations must be picked up in person from our distillery at 1224 Bonds Mill Road, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky 40342.
  • Age Requirement: The individual collecting the donations must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Requests should be submitted at least 2 months prior to the event or fundraiser.
  • By law, we are not permitted to donate alcohol unless:
    • The recipient is a non-profit organization, and
    • The organization has secured the required temporary liquor license to auction or raffle off spirits.

Restrictions

While we truly appreciate the important work many organizations do, Four Roses Distillery is unable to provide donations to certain groups. To ensure fairness and alignment with our mission, we cannot support:

  • Organizations that are not eligible for 501(c)(3) status:
    • Political or lobbying organizations, or any group supporting a governmental candidate
    • Individuals
  • Other causes outside our donation scope:
    • Youth groups, sports teams, or schools
    • Religious organizations
    • Domestic violence charities
    • Correctional facilities
    • Substance abuse or rehabilitation programs
    • Mental health programs

Due to the high volume of requests we receive, submission of your request does not guarantee approval. If your organization meets the above criteria, please complete the donation request form below. We will review your submission and respond as soon as possible.
