Bourbon Cherry Limeade

Ingredients

2 oz.: Four Roses Bourbon
1 ½ oz.: Cherry syrup
1 ½ oz.: Lime juice
Garnish: Lime wedge and cherry

Directions

Combine all ingredients into a shaking tin. Add ice and shake for fifteen seconds or until cocktail is well chilled and properly diluted. Double strain over fresh ice into highball glass.

Cherry Syrup

1 cup destemmed/ seeded cherries
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup water
Cook over medium high heat, stir and simmer for ten minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
